**Key responsibilities**:
- Assignments involve the Development and training of a team of scientists executing QC testing
- Establish processes and infrastructure (incl. sampling) related to the needs of primary packaging and raw materials for the sterile Fill and Finish production
- Create SOPs related to setting specifications, analytical testing, instruments and release
- Ensure compliant raw data authorization for analytical results
- Managing specifications, testing and release of raw materials to be used in clinical and commercial drug product production
- Supervise analytical testing for Raw Materials (Consumables, Excipients, Primary Packaging) at external contract laboratories
- Performs assessments of testing requirements for Raw Materials for release via compendial analysis (EP, USP)
- Supports laboratory investigations as well as solves routine analytical challenges
- Initiate, review and approve Trackwise records (deviations, Change requests
- Authors and approves documentation such as reports, Certificates of Analysis (CoA) ,Test Methods and Specification Sheets
- Provides transfer of knowledge and hands-on technical training
**Key requirements**:
- Academical degree (Master or higher) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field
- Extensive experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Good supervisory and team management skills
- Good problem solving, analytical and communication skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English is a must; German would be advantageous
- Demonstrated practical experience with testing, methods and instruments used for in analytical testing of raw materials
- Advantageous: Experience with Raman, NIR/FTIR Spectroscopy
