**Position Summary
As a **Legal Counsel **, you will support the Nespresso Commercial (B2B and B2C), Zone and Market teams, to implement Nespresso’s legal and business strategies across the globe.

**A Day in the Life of a Legal Counsel
- Support Nespresso’s commercial (B2B and B2C), Zone and Market teams in relation to their ongoing projects and business strategy
- Draft and negotiate contracts with distributors, machine partners and suppliers, in each case ensuring that these contain appropriate legal protections and enable the delivery of business objectives
- Resolve legal and related commercial issues which may arise in the context of such agreements
- Provide legal input, guidance and advice on M&A transactions
- Provide legal input, guidance and support on an ad hoc basis to commercial teams in the Zone and, where appropriate, the Markets

**What will make you successful
- At least 5 years’ experience in a legal role
- Prior experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts and M&A. E-business and/or antitrust experience a bonus
- Ability to handle major legal issues involving complex problems and factual uncertainties, for which considerable legal judgment, experience, and independent reasoning are needed
- Sound business judgment, customer and problem-solving oriented, attention to detail, pragmatic, resourceful, with good inter-personal and team skills
- Strong work ethic, integrity and honesty.
- Proactive and able to work autonomously on complex situations
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, in a business-friendly manner
- Full command of written and oral English. Ideally, to have knowledge of a second language (French an advantage)
