**Staff scientist expert in cryo-EM within the School of Life Sciences, EPFL Lausanne**:
**Your mission**:
Join our dynamic team at the School of Life Sciences as we intensify our focus on structural biology. We are currently seeking a cryo-EM specialist with expertise in either single particle cryo-EM or cellular tomography.

**Main duties and responsibilities include**:

- Support users with negative stain and cryo-EM sample preparation.
- Support users with sample loading and high-resolution cryo-EM data acquisition.
- Train PhDs and postdocs in operating transmission electron microscopes.
- Help users with single-particle data processing, analysis and model building.
- Act as a driver to establish cryo-ET and in-situ cryo-EM at EPFL.

**Your profile**:

- Ph.D. in structural biology with specific training in cryo-EM.
- Experience with the operation of high-end TEMS, such as Krios and Glacios.
- Experience with high resolution single-particle structure determination and modelbuilding.
- Knowledge of cryo-ET and subtomogram averaging would be an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with the operation of cryo-CLEM and cryo-FIB would similariy be a plus.
- Good IT skills, being team player and a service-oriented attitude are essential.
