On March 3rd, 2022, Tether, in collaboration with the vibrant Swiss city of Lugano, announced Lugano's Plan ₿. Together, Tether and the City of Lugano will work toward the shared goal of scaling the city’s blockchain capabilities and helping Lugano become a hub for European blockchain adoption.
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive **Coworking Space Manager **to oversee the operations of our Blockchain Hub and Bitcoin Meetup space in Lugano. This role is pivotal in creating an environment that supports blockchain technology ideas and start-ups, fostering a collaborative community of 300+ blockchain experts and enthusiasts.
This role goes beyond traditional receptionist responsibilities and encompasses tasks related to maintaining a positive and functional working environment for all members. Key responsibilities may include:
**1. Receptionist Duties**:
- Greeting and assisting members and guests.
- Handling check-ins and orientations for new members.
**2. Facility Management**:
- Addressing and resolving minor facility issues (e.g., light bulb replacements, furniture adjustments).
- Coordinating with maintenance or service providers for larger issues.
- Ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the coworking space.
**3. Community Building**:
- Fostering a positive and inclusive community atmosphere.
- Organizing and promoting community events or workshops.
- Addressing member inquiries and concerns promptly.
**4. Membership Support**:
- Assisting with membership inquiries and sign-ups.
- Managing coworking space access cards or key distribution.
- Providing tours to potential new members.
**5. Communication**:
- Serving as a point of contact between management and members.
- Distributing relevant information, updates, and announcements.
**6. Technology Management**:
- Assisting members with tech-related issues (e.g., Wi-Fi, printing).
- Collaborating with IT support for more complex technical problems.
This role requires a combination of customer service, organizational skills, and a hands-on approach to facility management. It plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and functional environment for individuals working within the coworking space.
- Previous experience in coworking space management or a related field.
