Finance Business Partner Mea

As MEA Finance BP, you will assume a key role in the management of the MEA territory through optimizing revenue, profit, cash flow and working capital.

You will be a member of the Middle East - Africa (MEA) leadership team.

Main responsibilities include guidance, consolidation & analysis, operational planning and reporting activities in the area of sales volumes & pricing, profitability, expenses, receivables & collections, inventories and headcount/FTE, with particular focus on controlling of the entire OTC (Order-To-Cash) processes within the MEA territory. The incumbent must be able to integrate, consolidate and cross analyze information across multiple MEA sites into comprehensive analyses with well supported insights that are relevant, sound and timely. He / she will be providing decision support and financial counsel to the MEA Leadership team.

In addition, responsibilities would include, integrity of:

- All financial transaction for Dubai legal entity and financial aspects of the business contracts,
- Implementation of center-led financial contractual conditions
- Adherence to the internal approval process as well as generation and retention of all documentation relevant to the above and required by external and internal regulations.

You will also be responsible for local governance that all relevant CSL internal policies are locally in place, updated and followed.

**Role and Responsibilities**:
**Business Partnering**
- Play an active role in local governance structure (Financial forecast meetings, budget review meetings, DRMs, compliance committee, grants and donations committee, risk management forums etc.).
- In collaboration with the ECI Finance BP, lead commercial finance and controlling activities for the Middle East - Africa territory by supervising and coaching local team including partnering with Regional and Global Finance Teams.

**Planning**
- Responsible for timely and accurate budget, forecast and strategic planning activities of the MEA territory. Develops timelines, requirements, models and facilitating budget and forecast review meetings in close collaboration with the ECI Finance BP.
- Participate in short-mid and long range planning discussions with local management team to assist in making effective business decisions and understanding the factors that are driving the area’s financial results.

**Monitoring and Ana**lysis**
- In collaboration with the ECI Finance BP lead monitoring and control of the economic value of the MEA operations. Particularly monitor & address deviations from committed plans & objectives. Bring up issues, challenge processes and decisions, identify risks and opportunities and offer solutions.
- Drive the development of business cases, gross margin models, NPV analyses and narratives that support decisions on tender participations by using sound modeling and logical analysis. Provide recommendations to management based on an understanding of market dynamics and financial targets.

**Internal Control**:

- Develop and maintain relevant local financial SOP’s (returns, credit memos, credit, price management, etc) in close collaboration with business integrity and regional finance teams that are in line with local laws and all relevant regional and global policies.
- Ensure that the center-led price approval process is in place and adhered to; maintain evidence of all internal approvals and accuracy of entries in all internal systems (e.g. managing transparency and accuracy of all commission, discounts and rebates).
- Participate as the finance lead in Local governance structure (Compliance Committee, Risk Management Committee, Grants and Donations Committee). - Support audits as needed

**Credit Management**:

- Manage the preparation of local credit limits in line with CSL policies.
- Follow up on collections with third parties as required.

**Operational Excellence**:

- Provide local input into business requirement definitions.
- Lead Training and Deployment initiatives of systems, process, SOP and policies.
- Continuously evaluate new systems, tools and instruments that optimize resources in planning and monitoring activities.

**Tender Management**:

- Financial review of Bids/Tenders before submission; support development of business cases.
- Provide suggestion to optimize the profitability of the region.

**Legal and Internal Authorities**:

- Sign approval on vendor contracts and reconciliation of payment requests for MEA sales in support of signature requirements.
- Review and approval of credit notes, commission payments, returns and pricing approvals.

**Accounting**:

- Support if necessary the local accounting vendor in clarification of expenses
- Engage with shared services team to ensure customer billings are generated accurately and in a timely manner. Liaises and works with local auditors for legal entity Dubai and Saudi Arabia as required

**Background Education and Past experience**:

- Master in Finance or Business Administration
