Location: Root D4, CH, 6039Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality which utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, ovarian cancer and other types of solid cancers.

To support our team in Root, Switzerland we are looking for a

**Manufacturing Controller**

In this role as manufacturing controller, you will act as a supplier relationship manager and become the main point of contact for Novocure’s external manufacturing partners. Working cross-functionally with internal departments and external resources you build and maintain strong relationships and ensure timely production of Novocure products.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Acting as a main point of contact for Novocure’s external manufacturing partners in the EMEA Region
- Troubleshooting of production and packaging processes including travel to CMOs to monitor on production.
- Carrying out quarterly business reviews including review and reporting of supplier performance.
- Coordination and execution of activities related to product technology transfer, validation and process improvements to manufacturing partners.
- Monitoring of existing vendor activities and performance through KPIs and reporting systems
- Supporting the authoring and review of manufacturing-related sections of regulatory submissions (domestic and international)
- Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.

**Your profile**:

- Scientific, Engineering, Manufacturing or Supply Chain related degree and a minimum of two years experience working in a manufacturing environment. Ideally in medical devices or other regulated or high-tech environments.
- Experience developing project plans for manufacturing transfers and managing multiple projects.
- Experience in positions that require oversight of outsourced manufacturing.
- Excellent communication and project management skills and ability to prioritize and organize according to priorities.
- Very good written and spoken English skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
