- Development and conduct of own PhD project in the area of Comparative Politics
- Support the research, teaching and consulting activities at the chair (albeit teaching and administrative obligations are mínimal)
- Participation in the doctoral programme “International Affairs & Political Economy”, which offers advanced methodological and substantive training;

**Your profile**:

- Motivation to pursue academic career and interest in theory-driven empirical research
- Advanced knowledge of social science research methods
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills, good command of the German language is an asset.
