**Your role**
- You will operate in a fast moving environment and will manage complex and challenging operational cyber-security issues, under pressure and constrained timelines. As an experienced leader and cyber security professional, we will call upon your creativity and innovation, in additional to your operational and technical expertise, to drive agile transformation and operational excellence globally. We will seek a fine balance of technical and management/leadership skills, operating comfortably in evolving situations under cyber attack. As a strong advocate for advancing the security posture of UBS, you will have the ability to exercise significant positive impact in the organization.**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the global Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC), managing day-to-day operations
- Lead, inspire and encourage a team of cyber security specialists to maximize their capabilities to the fullest potential
- Identify, establish and leverage synergies between CSOC and other organizations by strongly advancing a one-team mindset
- Advancing empowering initiatives towards continual improvement of response actions and corresponding metrics reporting
- Coordinate routine in-house training sessions that promote the exchange of technical knowledge amongst analysts
- Serve as the key stakeholder in the requirement shaping and analysis of new use-cases and detective capability development
- Create a competitive culture that drives the team to go the extra mile, and be a key driver of transformative change
- Drive continuous improvements through the creation of new processes and the enhancement of existing ones
- Coordinate the team’s participation in critical security incidents
- Ensure proper tracking, quality control, and documentation of incidents, and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders
- Lead post-incident activities, such as lessons learned and actions to improve readiness for future incidents
- Ultimately responsible for quality assurance and adhering to defined SLAs

**Your team**
- You will be the new Head of the Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC) working from Zurich, Switzerland. The CSOC is a global follow-the-sun team in Europe, Asia, and the Americas and managing a wide variety of information security incidents (phishing, malware, denial of service, inappropriate usage and unauthorized access).

**Your expertise**
- A natural ability to solve complex issues with analytic and lateral thinking
- Strong operational leadership skills combined with a comprehensive understanding of technology
- A Master’s of Science with 4+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s of Science with 6+ years of experience, or 8+ years of relevant experience
- Strong experience in incident management/response; with a proven track record in leading and coordinating incident response teams during fast moving critical security incidents
- Proven experience with security processes and standard operating procedures of global organizations in the financial sector or related. Experience includes the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of standard operational procedures (SOPs), incident and problem management, and change requests
- Experience with a wide variety of industry leading technologies and capabilities normally present in enterprise networks
- In-depth and proven track record embracing MITRE ATT&CK and D3FENED frameworks, or similar
- Ability to technically challenge analysts and engineers and drive operational excellence
- Past extensive experience as a SOC analyst
- Past experience in advancing Agile transformation initiatives
- Experience in advancing Cloud transformation and onboarding activities
- A self-starter with a proactive mind set and a “can-do” attitude, you should be solution oriented
