Hobson Prior are looking for a Safety Scientist to join a fantastic biotech organisation on a contract basis located in Basel with hybrid working available. Our client is focused on providing life-changing solutions for various illnesses.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Offer specialised input into the evolvement of the product safety method.
- For this role, you will be responsible for the safety mechanisms of study documents, cumulative documents and high-level regulatory reports.
- When relevant, partake in and offer contributions to drug monitoring committee (iDMC) meetings.
- Anticipated to possibly assist with non-molecule projects, due diligence evaluations and any other projects as required.
- You will plan and sustain safety sectors of the company core data sheet and/or reference safety information in the IB.
- Any other assigned duties.

**Requirements**:

- Educated to a degree level in a life science discipline.
- At least 5-7 years of safety/pharmacovigilance experience.
- Practical familiarity with clinical trials and mature product safety.
- Acquaintance with rick management plan, procedures, DSR, DSUR, CSR, IB, Adverse Events, etc.
- Capable of guiding and impacting with and without authority within an international matrix setting.
- Implement multifaceted data evaluation / statistical tactics to assess, comprehend and display scientific data with precision.
- Behaves in a matter compliant with the company's core values.
- Work well with all crucial shareholders, clients on an internal and external basis as well as guarantee similar across pertinent teams.
- Comply with all governing laws, guidelines, QMS, the company's standard operating procedures (SOPs) and any other regulations.
- Seen as an expert in safety science actions.
- Eager to challenge implanted behaviours/outlooks, to bring new and agile methods to ways of working, and/or to advance quality and efficacy.
