Head of Department Calibration Rig Metrology and

**Role + Responsibilities**
- You lead the department Calibration Rig Metrology and Predevelopment (line management and budget responsibility) within the main department for Special Machine Development and building of small to large flow calibration rigs.
- You support and coach your team regarding the technical and project related tasks of the department including predevelopment, calibration process development (metrological concept, measurement uncertainty budgets, validation procedures, etc.), calibration rig testing and calibration rig metrological support.
- You ensure the timely and correct delivery of the requested project tasks.
- You and your team are extensively involved in specifying, planning and utilizing digitalization solutions for the calibration rigs and the generated data.
- You organize predevelopment roadmaps and projects for the calibration rigs.
**Qualification + Profile**
- You hold a master's degree or higher in physics, mechanical engineering, electronics engineering, or similar area of expertise.
- You bring a strong education or strong experience in metrology, preferably in flow measurement (experience in ISO17025, measurement uncertainty budgets, GUM).
- Ideally, you possess a further education in business engineering (e.g. MBA), have several years of leadership experience and bring profound technical knowledge in special machine engineering/calibration righ development.
- You are a leader with a good balance between human and technical aspects, have an effective and independent working style, enjoy working in teams and value flexibility as well as reliability.
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken) and ideally in German, French is an advantage.
