**Your role**
- The Corporate and Institutional Clients Legal team is looking for a versatile, hands-on lawyer with know-how in banking and finance to become their new colleague. Would you like to advise our business units in Switzerland on day-to-day topics and finance transactions for UBS' corporate and institutional banking business? Are you interested in rethinking established processes to reshape our bank by contributing to digital transformation projects? Then it is you we are looking for- You will be advising the bank on day-to-day topics and on legal matters regarding loans, lease financing, taking security and cash management solutions. This will involve the drafting and negotiating of finance agreements and related documents as well as work out cases and litigations.
- You will be advising the bank on all legal aspects related to strategic and non-strategic equity investments and divestments.
- You will need to closely collaborate with other legal teams, business units and control functions in agile digital transformation projects and actively contribute to their accomplishment.
- We expect you to take ownership, to give clear and accurate legal advice to business partners as well as control functions, to manage legal risk and to strive for pragmatic solutions.
**Your team**
- You will be part of our dedicated and highly professional Corporate and Institutional Clients Legal team which provides high-quality advice and tailor-made solutions to our business partners.
**Your expertise**
- a master's degree in law, ideally combined with a Swiss bar admission and relevant postgraduate qualification (LL.M., MBA, CAS, DAS, MAS, CFA or similar);
- proven practical experience in a similar position, preferably in banking and finance, either in a corporate law firm or in-house;
- strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to cooperate with and manage internal business partners and functions as well as external legal counsels;
- able to work independently and under pressure and towards challenging deadlines;
- solution oriented and able to think 'out of the box' when supporting the development of new products;
- fluent in German and English (French will be an advantage).
