To join the team of our client, a worldwide organization based in Geneva, we are looking for a **Security and Patch management Expert.**
Our client provides technology services to more than 15,000 employees globally, external partners, and beneficiaries. Protecting digital operations from cyber-attacks is a core element of the institutional cyber security strategy.
Based in Geneva and reporting directly to the Head of Technology, the **Security and Patch management expert** plays a key role to support the mission of managing the security of our client information systems according to institutional expectations.
**Your tasks**:
The security and patch management expert works within the Infrastructure team to:
- Identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities mainly on operating systems and database engines, but not exclusively.
- Coordinate cross-organization the deployment of vulnerability patches, review related documents and communicate with operational support teams
- Participate to the improvement of processes around vulnerability and patch management including operating models, maturity models, KPI's, handling and reporting processes, roles/responsibilities, etc.
- This role is a key business enabler to provide information security risk analysis and strategic recommendations for the ongoing improvement of Information Security.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Degree in IT (minimum bachelor)
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and risk mitigation strategies for security threats, trends, and architecture.
- Experience with Windows Server, middleware as MS SQL, ISS,.Net, runtimes, webrowser.
- Experience with Windows workstation / endpoint and MS Office an asset.
- Experience with management BiOS, GPO & ADMX administration.
- Experience with configuration tools as SCCM, WSUS/WUfB and monitoring tools as SCOM.
- Good knowledge and experience about scripting.
- Experience in Linux environnement (Redhat) is a plus.
- Excellent ability to work in a team, under pressure and in a complex and multinational environment.
- Open-minded, appreciative of novelty and intuition in finding a solution to the various problems that arise.
- Fluent in French & English mandatory
