GF Piping Systems is one of three divisions of GF, headquartered in Schaffhausen (Switzerland). The division is a leading supplier of piping systems made of plastics and metal. GF Piping Systems focuses on system solutions and high-quality components for the safe transport of water, chemicals, and gases, as well as corresponding services. In over 100 countries through its own sales companies and representative offices and with more than 30 production sites in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, GF Piping Systems supports customers in the fields of utility, industry, and building technology.

In this newly created role, you will be responsible to develop and realize our future data strategy and data governance model. This role requires working through new and existing structures to challenge and champion the creation, monitoring, approval, sharing, and publishing of high-quality data.

**Head of Data Strategy and Governance (M/F/d)**:
Switzerland, Schaffhausen

Workload: 100%

**Your tasks**:

- Develop a holistic data vision & strategy based on your structured fit/gap analysis considering future needs
- Implement and continuously improve the vision by establishing a comprehensive data governance framework (policies, organization, ownership/responsibilities, data standards, processes, integrations, tools, guidelines, and templates)
- Run the transition project on a time, quality, and cost basis
- Involve and communicate with all different departments throughout the analysis and transition journey (CAD, PLM, ERP, PIM, E-Commerce, IT, etc.).
- Regular communication about the latest developments, projects, policies, etc.
- Provide reports (dashboards, scorecards) to present the respective statuses
- Lead and guide one team member supporting you in the overall transformation
- Train team members, share best practices & work closely with external development partners, external resources, and/or technical suppliers

**Your profile**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, information technology, e-business, or similar with at least 5 years of professional experience in data management
- Superior analytical, evaluative, and data modeling abilities
- Understanding of core Business Processes and data flows
- Experience with large, complex, cross-functional data-driven projects
- Experienced in Change Management and Transformation
- Project Management certification (PMP, Prince 2, or similar) is a plus
- Basic understanding of Business Intelligence technologies
- Excellent communication, networking, mediation, and technical translation skills
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
