Our client is a pioneer in Drug Discovery and Development and one of the frontrunners in Personalised Healthcare. As the world's largest R&D spender in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics domain, they work in a vast number of drug discovery & therapeutic areas and are highly recognized internationally.
We are currently working for a **Research Associate (Oncology Discovery)**, for a 12-months contract based in the Zürich area.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Planning, conducting, analyzing and interpreting in vitro/ex vivo assays based on tumor/immune cell (co-)cultures and accurately documenting assays, ensuring that laboratory meets technical and safety standards and complies to regulatory requirements
- Iteratively improving the assay design as a result of data interpretation.
- Presenting generated data packages, writing scientific reports and contributing to publications
- Continuously extending relevant scientific knowledge (literature research)
- Closely collaborating with team members to allow efficient cross-learnings
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Bachelor or Masters degree (no PhD applicants) or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Onco-immunology or Cancer Immunotherapies.
- First hands-on experience (Academic level included) in multipanel flow cytometry, antibody-mediated tumor cell killing, assessment of immune cell activation and proliferation, multiplex cytokine measurements.
- Experience with cell culture and cell-based assays.
- Master thesis or previous internship on immunotherapies, especially T cell engagers.
- Experience in using Flowjo Graphpad Prism.
