Assistant Professorship (non Tenure Track) of Geriatric Rehabilitation

The position is limited to six years and associated to the University Department for Aging Medicine USZ. Furthermore, it is associated with the position of a senior physician at the Clinic for Geriatric Rehabilitation at the Zurich City Hospital - Waid Campus, which is currently being established.

The Assistant Professor represents the field of research, teaching and clinical service. Half of the professorship is dedicated to research and teaching and half to clinical care. The University of Zurich, the University Hospital Zurich and the nearby ETH Zurich offer an excellent environment for committed qualified young researchers.

As an applicant, you will have a specialist qualification in internal medicine and have com-pleted or at least advanced training in geriatrics. Ideally, your active research is already in-ternationally recognized and supported by the successful acquisition of competitive research funding. Leadership experience in geriatric medicine at the level of senior physician is also desired.

You have an interactive personality and like to cooperate in interdisciplinary teams. Excellent organizational skills and high resilience to stress are expected.

German language skills (level B2 of the common European framework of reference for lan-guages) are required for this position. If not already present, corresponding language skills must be acquired within a reasonable period of time.
