The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Basel and the University Hospital of Basel are looking to fill the position of Professor of Neurosurgery The Neurosurgical Clinic at the University Hospital Basel is one of the leading neurosurgical clinics in Switzerland in terms of research and services, with an international reputation. The research focus of the professorship will be on neuro-oncological neurosurgery.

**Your profile**

You have broad neurosurgical experience with a special focus on neurooncological neurosurgery. You have successfully conducted your own research, including securing competitive third-party funding, in the area of neurooncological neurosurgery. You have proven leadership experience in an academic environment. Your distinctive expertise, leadership, and outstanding communication skills place you in an ideal position to gain acceptance and trust. You are able to create an attractive work environment, inspire creative thinking that can be put into action, and encourage your employees. You have a very good command of German.
