Material Planner

**Job Description Summary**:
**Role Summary/Purpose**:
The Material Planner acts as a key link between Master Scheduling, Fulfillment, Operations, Production Engineering, Finance as well as Procurement functions and is responsible for the overall on-time delivery of her/his assigned projects. Ultimately, that makes the Materials Planner to the project’s SPOC for internal stakeholders upon receipt of the PO. While targeting 100% on-time delivery the Material Planner actively works on process improvement projects to eliminate waste and therefore increase value to the customer.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Monitor the project status and compare with master schedule. Responsible for the proactive initiation of corrective actions in case of deviations from master plan. That includes setting up task-force meetings with production stakeholders, creating/updating and implementing new projects plan and - if necessary - the reporting of those plans.
- Monitor implementation of corrective action plans.
- Evaluate and drive resolution on all manufacturing material quality and supply issues.
- Scheduling, preparation and conduction of customer witness points
- Inventory Management
- Active participation and lead of continuous improvement projects to increase customer satisfaction
- Interface with engineering, production, sales, purchasing and suppliers in order to schedule the receipt of technical documents and material to meet production demand.
- Responsible for material scheduling and creation of purchase requisitions for components and main contact to track raw material readiness, updating database, editing routines documents, procurement follow up and expediting management.
- Maintain, control and ensure correct SAP & APS relevant master data structure
**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Proficient in English & German.
- SAP MM/PP Experience
- Microsoft Office
