Tfs Trading Manager

**Main Purpose**:TFS provides financial solutions to its clients to enhance the profitability and financial risk management of Trafigura. The TFS Trading Manager is responsible for the growth and further development of the business with a focus on Financial Solutions as well as the expansion of the origination business for Trafigura. The role will be responsible for the development and implementation of its long-term strategy in conjunction with the TFS management. As a TFS Trader at Trafigura, you will play a critical role in originating comprehensive financial solutions for the company's commodity trading activities and add to its profitability. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders, including traders, risk managers, and finance teams, to optimize financial strategies and ensure the financial integrity of our trading activities.

- At least 10 years’ experience in commodities markets with expertise in business development
- A detailed and technical understanding of the TFS structures and products
- Executive experience at C-level
- Experience in driving transactions from idea to closure through all approvals
- Experience of technical and regulatory analysis of financial markets
- Existing network in both financial and commodities markets
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, commodities, and risk management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High degree of commercial focus and strong business acumen

**Key Responsibilities**

Originate and structure financial solutions to benefit the overall profitability and risk management of the broader Trafigura organisation

Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes related to commodity trading activities. Analyze financial data, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flows, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Risk Management: Collaborate with risk management teams to develop and implement effective risk management strategies. Monitor and assess market and credit risks associated with commodity trading activities. Provide recommendations for mitigating risks and optimizing financial performance.

Financial Planning and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of financial plans and budgets. Contribute to the forecasting process by providing financial insights and projections. Analyze and interpret financial data to identify potential areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.

Trading Support: Collaborate with traders and trade finance teams to ensure timely and accurate financial settlements. Assist in the documentation and execution of trade finance transactions, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, and structured trade financing facilities.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Collaborate with internal compliance teams to implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including traders, finance teams, and risk managers. Collaborate with external corporate clients, financial institutions and service providers to optimize financial services and ensure efficient execution of financial transactions.
