**Job purpose**
Oikocredit International (OI) raises equity capital from retail investors in Switzerland via its local entity. The Branch Manager in Switzerland oversees all topics related to the marketing approach and implementation, the strategic partnerships in Switzerland, the seamless customer journey and the operational continuity and compliance of the branch.
**Main responsibilities**
The Branch Manager collaborates closely with the OI central office functions to ensure that all local actions are in harmony with organizational policies and processes. In addition, he/she oversees the inflow activities in Switzerland and will be responsible for:
- Sales & marketing:
- Define and implement a strategy around raising equity capital from retail investors
- Define and implement a strategy for institutional investors/direct members (national and regional level)
- Guide the marketing lead on the marketing and communications strategy creation and implementation
- Investor relations & operations:
- Enable administrative management of all local operations
- Implement and harmonize administrative processes
- Propose improvements and adaptations based on local experience
- Ensure the fluidity of administrative processes within the whole organization and the right level of service provided
- Compliance:
- Take responsibility for local compliance requirements (KYC, AML, data privacy )
- Act as 1 point of contact for OI requirements
- Representation of OI:
- Act as spokesperson for Oikocredit in Switzerland towards investors, media, and other stakeholders
- Represent Oikocredit at crucial sector events/initiatives
- Manage the relationship between local Support Associations (SAs) and OI
- Manage the relationship with Swiss direct members in close collaboration with the Senior Investor Relations Officer (owners)
**Qualifications, skills, and experience**
- Advanced university degree in marketing or business administration or equivalent professional experience
- Solid understanding of financial markets regulation related to investment products in Switzerland
- Minimum 6 to 10 years of relative experience, including budget and managerial responsibilities
- Ability to manage staff and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in multi-stakeholder and change management
- Familiar with doing business in both parts of Switzerland, French
- and German-speaking.
- Demonstrable alignment with Oikocredit’s values and commitment to the goals of impact investment generally
- Native German level and fluent in French or vice-versa, fluent English
