For our client, the company F. Hoffmann La Roche based in Basel, we are looking for a Local Deployment PMO/Project Manager (m/w/d).

Background

ASPIRE is an enterprise-wide global business transformation program that will harmonize, simplify all core E2E processes across Roche and enable their execution from standardized IT- Landscape with SAP S/4HANA being at the core.

This Global Template is being rolled-out in Waves and Local Deployment PMO/Project Manager will be a key member of FHLR (Basel/KAU area) Wave Deployment Team and driving the local Project Management activities of the assigned function, PTS (Pharma Supply Operations) & its E2E teams within this main program.

In this role, the Local Deployment PMO/PM is a member of the PTS Local Deployment Team and will enable successful business transformation by ensuring that local Project Management processes/practices and tools are in place to meet the project deliverables, outcomes and schedule.

The local PMO/PM will work in alignment with the Wave ASPIRE Project Office to establish the project plan framework, to understand core dependencies and critical paths.

The Local PMO/PM will support the local Deployment Lead and related E2E streams in their project activities and ensure clear x-functional communications, updates and status reporting. Position will report to Local Deployment Lead and dotted line reporting to Wave Deployment PMO.

Tasks
- Manage and execute end-to-end project management activities, for a successful delivery on time and on quality
- Develop and oversee detailed local project plans in alignment with global ones, with clear critical path, gate reviews and contingency defined
- Ensure project management methodology is in place in a timely manner and the team is coached on how to use it
- Create and manage local project management tools, deliverables, reports
- Use the ASPIRE deliverables list as basis for the project plan and define additional local deliverables as needed
- Ensure all work streams are represented in the plan, understand and commit to the plan
- Implement local status reporting for project activities, monitoring delivery performance & provide feedback and metrics to report status to the management and all key stakeholders
- Identify project risks and support /develop risk mitigation plans
- Participate in Wave PMO Community Meetings, activities and planning sessions
- Schedule & facilitate local working sessions, workshops, team meetings
- Ensure Change Control is in place (in terms of deliverable/timing changes between core/local)
- Support the coordination of local testing activities
- Plan and manage execution of ramp-down, cutover and ramp-up phases of the project
- Assist in Change Management activities

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or higher degree, preferably in Management, Information Technologies or Engineering (\*\*\*)
- Project Management (PMP and /or other industry and project management certifications) (\*\*\*)
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience in managing multiple end-to-end SAP/IT projects, with a successful track record in delivery of projects involving multi-disciplinary teams (\*\*\*)
- Experience in Leading role(s) (\*\*\*)
- Proficient in use of project management tools and techniques. Experience with tools like; Smartsheet/MS
- Project, GSuite, Jira, Trello, LucidSpark, Calendars, Resource Planning is required (\*\*\*)
- High-level English (written/spoken) (\*\*)
- Knowledge and understanding of IT/SAP solutions with Business and Supply Chain processes is a strong asset
- Facilitating workshops, team meetings
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills to work in a multicultural and matrix environment
- Practical, self-driven, result -oriented with a hands-on attitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - with ability to communicate at any hierarchical level
- Ability to multi-task and work under deadlines/pressure is a must
- Highly developed business acumen
