will be responsible for developing, designing, implementing, and optimizing automation and

control systems. The role requires a strong understanding of automation and control and a good

foundation in electrical and process engineering.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Integrate, design and test of automation solutions for process plants (in our case emission

reduction systems.)
- Define automation architectures and strategies to integrate different systems to ensure
process stability.
- Design and develop electrical control systems, and wiring schemes including component

selection.
- PLC and HMI programming
- Define process control and safety philosophies of a variety of process technologies.
- Prepare function design specifications and functional descriptions.
- Perform FMEA, HAZOP/HAZID and conclude on alarm and monitoring systems
- Supervise of Automation and Instrumentation related activities during commissioning
- Lead deployment of plant control software and participate hands-on in commissioning,
trouble shooting and testing with other engineers.
- Prepare relevant commissioning documents and instructions.
- Execute control software release testing in collaboration with A&C development.
- Collaborate with external engineering partners, suppliers and vendors to select equipment and

materials that meet project requirements and manage procurement processes as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- MSc in Automation and Control and/or Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ year(s) of relevant industrial experience in design and implementation of rugged, large
- scale automation and control systems.

- Knowledge about control system architecture.
- Knowledge of IEC 61131-3 languages.
- Familiar with industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA,...).
- Experience in preparing requirement speciation of automation and control systems.
- Working knowledge and programming of PLCs and HMI.
- common design standard.- Skilled in using CAD tools for electrical cabinet design (Autocad, Electrical, EEplan, etc.)
