**Third Party Risk Management Contractor - 6 month contract with possible extension**:
Partner Reinsurance is looking for a Third Party Risk Management Contractor contributing to the development and maintenance of governance standards and frameworks, assisting the Head of Third Party Management in day-to-day operations, as well as taking ownership for several workstreams designing policies, processes, and controls during the implementation of new outsourcing regulation. The position is at a mid-management level.

**Responsibilities**:
Your main responsibilities will include, but won’t be limited to:

- Support the day-to-day management of Third Party Management operations.
- Support and manage the due diligence process for outsourced services (intragroup and external).
- Facilitate and manage enhancements to the outsourcing register in line with regulatory requirements, defining business requirements for IT changes in RSA Archer, but also from a workflow improvement perspective. Work with global stakeholders and data owners to ensure data quality is continuously enhanced.
- Support and manage workstreams implementing good practice governance standards to comply with outsourcing regulation.
- Support 2nd line monitoring activities and internal legal entity reporting procedures.
- Support concept, design and roll-out of the outsourcing policy in new PartnerRe jurisdictions.
- Support development of a lean and effective risk and control framework for third party risks not under the regulatory definition of outsourcing.

**About you**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related (Legal or Compliance or Risk Management) or relevant area.
- Profound understanding of the current outsourcing risk landscape, preferably with (partial) knowledge of Solvency II, MAS, HKIA, PRA, OSFI, BMA outsourcing related regulation.
- Understanding of (re-)insurance value chain and industry knowledge.
- Experience in control design and establishing operating efficiency.
- Prior working knowledge of manipulating and analysing large data sets, reporting including visualizations.
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical and problem solving skills & mindset.
- Proven ability to work with, challenge and manage 1st line risk owners at various hierarchical levels in the organization.
- Maintaining related professional certifications would be preferable.
- Ability to communicate and interact with a diverse set of senior partners using your excellent skills in English (verbal and written), as well as demonstrating your social competence and assertiveness.
- Last but not least, you enjoy working independently as well as within a team to build strong relationships with colleagues.
