Result of Service
- The consultant is expected to deliver: - Report on the UK-India trade mission held on week commencing 19 Jan in the UK to be delivered by mid February 2026. - Conduct post trade mission follow-up evaluations and report the total volume and value of business leads generated as an immediate result of the India - UK trade mission by the end February 2026. - Review and edit at least 7 project activity documents and communications (e.g. concept notes, programme agendas, invitations, press releases and other communication materials) before the contract end date. - Draft and finalize at Programme reports, i.e. Quarterly donor reports (Q3 by the end of January 2026) and Annual report reflecting annual and overall Programme results by 6 March 2026. - Database of progressive results from business generation activities carried out under the Programme (information to include status of business deal, number of shipments, frequency of orders and volume of goods) throughout contract period and based on the market access database of the Programme to be delivered by the end of the contract.

- SheTrades Commonwealth+ Programme SheTrades Commonwealth delivers economic growth and job creation in Commonwealth countries through increasing participation of women owned businesses in trade. Since its launch at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in April 2018, ITC SheTrades has delivered significant results, including: - Providing training and mentoring to over 3,500 Women-owned businesses (WOBs);
- Supporting the creation of over 6,600 jobs;
- Generating over £32 million sales for WOBs;
- Working with over 90 BSOs to improve the business environment for women;
- Launch and roll-out the SheTrades Outlook to almost 40 countries;
- Identified over 80 good practices from both developing and developed countries to inspire new programmes and initiatives to provide better support to WOBs. Topics include access to skills, access to finance, access to networks, tailored support for enterprises, collection of gender-disaggregated data, and policies/laws that support women in trade, among others. - Supported 10 countries with gender-responsive policy reform on more than 10 topics including public procurement, national export strategies, national AfCFTA implementation strategies, COVID-19 disbursement packages, among others. The SheTrades Commonwealth + project aims to foster an enabling business ecosystem by promoting inclusive policy and data and engaging business support organisations, private-sector partners, and women-led businesses in the Commonwealth countries. In addition to Indonesia as a key trading partner of the Commonwealth countries, direct interventions to women-led businesses and private-sector partners target the following Commonwealth countries, Bangladesh, Mauritius, and Nigeria. The implementation approach of this project recognizes the previous phase of the SheTrades Commonwealth project that has been ongoing since 2018, over which time sustainable networks of stakeholders at both ecosystem and SME level have been built and sustained. In addition, the project will focus on scalability and immediate results by strengthening the functionalities and diversifying services of the ITC Women and Trade Programme globally through SheTrades Outlook and SheTrades Hubs. This approach offers an opportunity to achieve significant value for money for FCDO, one of the main donors of the Initiative, by maximising the efficiency of interventions - by developing global platforms, such as the SheTrades platform, access will be provided to as many women entrepreneurs as possible. Through nesting in the SheTrades Hubs approach, it is also assessed that these activities will be highly effective in realising longer term outcomes. Following a review with the donor, the original theory of change for the previous phase of the project remains largely valid. Implementation to date has largely validated assumptions around the capacity of women to trade, the willingness of institutions to engage and of governments to create more inclusive policies. This phase of the project will focus on providing relevant, targeted content on global platforms as well as influencing institutions and private sector to support women entrepreneurs to thrive in the digital economy. The project will also have light-touch interventions on green transition to respond to climate change and increasing green-related market requirements. The SheTrades Commonwealth + project will have a greater focus on the mutual benefits of UK trading arrangements for developing country partners and for women-led businesses than it had in previous years. Supporting women-led businesses to export to priority countries and leveraging the UK business community and other UK trade and development programmes can strengthen market connections between UK businesses
