100 %Your tasksYou are responsible for managing projects that involve portfolio and customer specific wireless connectivity products for various market applications, including transportation, industrial, and communication sectors from exploration phase to serialization.In the role of a Project Manager R&D, your tasks surpass the traditional scope of project management, including not only the planning of time, cost, and deliverables but also the coordination of work packages within the project team. Additionally, within the project activities you are tasked with establishing appropriate priorities and strategies, carrying out technical reviews, and preparing documentation and reports.In the context of these project management efforts, you will join our Wireless PMD (Product Management and Development) organization, collaborating with mechanical engineering and antenna specialists, product managers and other project leaders. In addition to these internal collaborations, you work with external suppliers, technology partners, universities and startup companies from various disciplines.Some examples of typical activities to help you grasp an idea of the daily work:Responsibility for the overall implementation of internal or customer projectsLeading the project team according to the defined processesExecution of technical and project reviewsClose collaboration with internal posts / positions at H+S in the region and at the production siteHandling suppliers within project scope (external labs, subcontractors etc.)Overall added value evaluation: performance vs cost calculation for business support, product and technology developmentImplementation of antenna products considering innovative concepts, materials and manufacturing processesYour profileTechnical degree in engineering (Dipl.-Ing./Ing. HTL/FH/TH/ETH.) - System, Electrical or Mechanical engineeringPreferably 4-5+ years of experience in a similar positionExperience in Automotive- / Railway- / Communication Industry is a plusKnowledge in development of products is a mustSkills to communicate and plan in a professional and systematic way and able to meet timelines and cost-efficiency goalsAbility to drive, co-ordinate and lead projects and your customer-oriented thinking will be the basis of your professional successVery good communication skills in EnglishLeadership skills (activities, people) will be considered a plusWhy HUBER+SUHNER?Be part of this worldwide hightech development on challenging and impacting products (Automotive Autonomous Driving, 5G, Railway communication,).
