It Application Owner

To further strengthen our IT capabilities, we are looking for an experienced IT Application Owner – Finance Applications to join our IT department. This is a full-time position based in Baden, Switzerland, offered with an unlimited contract and a hybrid working model.  In this pivotal and hands-on role, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end project management for finance-related information systems, covering both SAP ERP and non-SAP applications. You will take ownership of key finance applications and play a central role in driving automation and AI initiatives to improve efficiency and digital maturity across the finance function. You will report to the IS Finance Manager located in Baden and work as part of a global IT organization. The role supports global finance projects and operations managed from Accelleron’s headquarters in Switzerland, offering the opportunity to collaborate with international teams and actively shape the future of finance technology within the company. Your responsibilities:Application Ownership for Non-ERP Tools: Oversee the end-to-end management of finance applications, with a primary focus on APOC (Accounts Payables on Cloud) but also other applications from the areas of accounting, controlling, tax and treasury. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously enhance finance applications based on business needs. Ensure stability, performance, and security of finance applications, proactively addressing potential risks.User Support & Issue Resolution: Provide ongoing support to end-users, addressing issues and ensuring a positive user experience. Troubleshoot interface issues with SAP ERP and collaborate closely with SAP CPI and SAP FI-CO technical teams. Coordinate the resolution of the issues with different vendors and internal IT teams to address functional, infrastructure, security, and connectivity challenges efficiently.IS Project Management for Finance Applications: Lead end-to-end project management for finance related IS initiatives, including SAP ERP and non-SAP applications. Oversee the implementation of new solutions, applications, and new functions within SAP, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables, aligning with business objectives. Coordinate and oversee the work of technical teams, ensuring effective collaboration, and collect requirements from finance stakeholders to ensure alignment with their needs.Automation and AI Leadership: Lead projects focused on automation and AI to optimize finance processes, collaborating with finance business partners to identify and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage third-party vendor relationships, ensuring performance aligns with contracts. Act as a liaison between finance stakeholders and IT to align application capabilities with business needs.Your background:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in project management and application ownership roles focused on finance applications.Proven expertise in leading IS projects involving SAP ERP and other non-ERP finance applications integrated with SAP.Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R).Practical experience implementing and managing Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) solutions, with end-to-end integration into SAP S/4HANA.Experience in automation and AI-driven projects to enhance finance process efficiency.Strong technical proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, with hands-on troubleshooting experience.Demonstrated project management skills, managing multiple priorities and complex, cross-functional projects.Deep understanding of finance-related software, cloud-based solutions, and IT infrastructure.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technical and operational challenges.Knowledge of security, compliance, and risk management in finance applications.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional, virtual, and international teams.Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.Your benefits:Canteen.Childcare.Modern office, smart working.Flexible working model.Attractive holiday plan.Remote work policy.Employee assistance program.Kindly ensure the CV is uploaded in English only.We look forward to receiving your application.
