At Skope, we are seeking a Finance Director who can seamlessly balance day-to-day financial operations with long-term strategic planning. In this role, you won't just oversee finance — you will be directly involved in executing key financial processes, from budgeting and forecasting to cash flow management and financial reporting.
You will work closely with the CEO, HR, and the leadership team to drive financial decisions that support our growth. Additionally, you will collaborate with our colleagues at our motherhouse in Japan, ensuring alignment on financial strategy and reporting standards.

YOUR TASKS
- Financial Operations & Accounting – Execute and oversee accounting for Switzerland, including cost accounting, monthly reviews, year-end closing, and consolidated reporting. Support USA accounting in collaboration with local consultants – no US finance knowledge required.
- Financial Planning & Controlling – Manage budgeting, cash flow, cost controlling, and financial reporting to Canon (monthly & quarterly).
- Tax & Compliance – Handle tax declarations, VAT management, and tax planning for Switzerland while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable – Oversee payments, accounts receivable, expense approvals, and credit card administration.
- Corporate Governance & Administration – Manage contract filing, commercial register documents, board meeting minutes, and various admin tasks, including mailbox handling.
- Intercompany & Audit Management – Liaise with the US accountant, oversee intercompany transactions, and lead financial audits.
- Strategic Finance Leadership – Support executive decision-making, collaborate with Canon and leadership teams, and contribute to financial strategy development.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration (MBA or relevant certifications like CPA, CMA, CFA, or Swiss equivalents are a plus).
- 5+ years experience in finance
- Deep knowledge of financial regulations and proficiency with financial software (Abacus)
- Strong financial planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Acting pro-actively and independently with a hands-on approach
- Excellent knowledge of German and English
