Description :The opportunityAs a Diffusion Maintenance Engineer, you play a vital role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and continuous improvement of our semiconductor production systems.Your focus is on the corrective and preventive maintenance of diffusion and cleaning equipment, working cross-functionally to drive safety, productivity, and system optimization across the production line.How you’ll make an impactEnsure maximum uptime of semiconductor production systems through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting of diffusion equipmentDrive continuous improvement in equipment performance, applying workplace safety and efficiency practices aligned with 5S methodologyCollaborate closely with maintenance, process, and production teams to achieve performance goals and optimize line efficiencyParticipate in system upgrade and modernization projects to enhance tool capability and reliabilityMaintain accurate and detailed documentation of maintenance activities, equipment status, and system performanceSupport root-cause analysis and problem resolution for technical issues within the teamTrain and mentor colleagues on diffusion systems, safety, and best maintenance practicesPromote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and proceduresYour backgroundCompleted technical vocational training (e.g., Automation Technician, Electronics Technician, or similar field)Additional training or expertise in vacuum systems or related technologies is an advantageHands-on experience in maintenance of semiconductor production systems or comparable industrial equipmentSolid understanding of electronics, mechanics, and pneumatics; experience with diffusion systems (e.g., ASM, Centrotherm furnaces) is a plusFamiliarity with metrology tools for process control (e.g., Surfscan 6200, Semilab WT-2000) is highly desirableStrong team player with problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and proficiency in English (German is a plus)More about usJoin a high-tech production environment where innovation, precision, and teamwork drive everything we do.
