The PositionWe are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT System Administrator to support and enhance our IT infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient systems that enable business operations across the organization.Your ResponsibilitiesMaintain, monitor, and optimize server, network, and endpoint infrastructure (on-premise and cloud)Provide timely technical support to users across locationsImplement and maintain security best practices (patch management, access controls, backups)Administer virtualization environments (e.g., VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud services (Azure/AWS) where applicableManage identity, authentication, group policies, and onboarding/offboarding processesTroubleshoot complex IT issues and drive continuous improvementsMaintain up-to-date system documentation Planning and implementation of IT projects and migrationsJob RequirementsBachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science, or equivalent experience3+ years of hands-on experience in system administrationFluency in German and EnglishSolid knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)Experience with virtualization and cloud technologiesStrong problem-solving and communication skillsWorking with autonomy, strong team orientation and process improvementExperience with ITIL or structured support processes is a plusWhy Celonic?Make a difference by directly impacting patients livesBiologics is an attractive, high growth sector with professional development Offers a multinational and diverse workplaceProud to be a pioneer in “Next Generation” manufacturing technologiesFamily owned: Entrepreneurial, and short communication linesBasel is a great place to live, play and work in the center of EuropeAbout usCelonic is a “Pure Play” Biologics Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO).
