Description :The opportunityAs a Field Service Technician you perform repairs, troubleshoot technical issues, analyze field failures, and provide hands-on support to ensure reliable operation of bushings in the field. You work closely with internal teams, share your practical expertise, and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and processes.How you’ll make an impactPerform on-site repairs and service of bushings, ensuring prompt and professional issue resolutionCarry out in-house repairs of returned products and handle non-conformance cases from productionSupport failure investigations, including dissection, root cause analysis, and technical reportingProvide technical support and training to customers on equipment handling and basic maintenanceLead or support small improvement projects to enhance quality, processes, and service efficiencyCreate service documentation, including work reports, used materials, and repair outcomesFollow safety standards and company procedures at all times during field and workshop activitiesCollaborate with engineering, quality, and sales teams to resolve escalated technical problemsYour backgroundCompleted technical apprenticeship or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experienceMinimum 3 years of field service or technical repair experience, ideally in industrial environmentsAbility to read technical drawings and schematics confidentlyStrong mechanical skills and proficiency with hand and power toolsStrong analytical and troubleshooting ability to solve complex technical issuesCustomer-focused communicator, fluent in German and EnglishIndependent, self-driven work style with flexibility for variable working hoursMore about usHitachi Energy stands for innovative technologies and sustainable energy solutions worldwide.
