Sales Manager Defence

Your Responsibilities You represent the Business Unit Combustion Engines to our Defence customers across all phases of the sales and project life cycle – from initial contact to after-sales support You identify and understand customer needs, gather and structure relevant information, and coordinate internally to ensure expectations are addressed effectively You collaborate closely within the Defence Team to prepare quotations and ensure competitive offers You contribute to the development of customer-specific offer concepts, ensuring alignment with market and localization requirements during tender and bidding processes You bring together internal specialists to shape solutions that support customer and business success You act as a key interface between the customer and internal teams – ensuring smooth communication, mutual understanding, and project progression You serve as a liaison between the customer and internal departments, ensuring clear communication and smooth project progression You stay up to date with market trends and developments in the Defence sector to help guide sales strategy and identify new opportunities Your Profile You have a solid background in Defence sales, business development, or key account management, specifically within the land Defence sector You have previous working experience with customers in the Defence industry, industrial propulsion, combustion engine, or similar You have a proven track record in successful customer acquisition, proposal preparation, and long-term client support with an ability to handle sensitive data confidentially You are highly customer-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a structured, solution-driven approach to your work Your solution and goal-orientation paired with a hands-on mentality will ensure your success You are willing and able to travel as required to meet customer and project needs You have excellent skills in English, any additional language is a plus Our Offer Can we inspire you to take on a responsible position in a dynamic and independent family business?
