Azure Solution Architect

Description ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking for an experienced Solution Architect to join EPAM and support our client from the financial services area in their office in Zurich. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions with a focus on Microsoft Azure. The candidate will be responsible for leading the architectural design and deployment of technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives, managing architectural risks, and ensuring successful delivery. Responsibilities Evaluate the proposed cloud solution, working collaboratively to refine and enhance it Ensure alignment with best practices, industry standards and regulatory requirements Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing the solution architecture Drive the implementation of the Azure Cloud solution, utilizing Microsoft Azure, AKS and Azure Web App Service Oversee the deployment process, ensuring ease of deployment, maintainability and cost-effectiveness Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize performance Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions to equip the team with the skills needed for long-term self-sufficiency Provide comprehensive documentation and training materials Mentor team members on best practices in Azure Cloud, AKS and infrastructure design Requirements Bachelors degree in information technology or related field At least 3 years of proven experience as a Senior Cloud Developer/Solution Architect in Microsoft Azure environments Expertise in AKS and Azure Web App Service Strong understanding of infrastructure design and implementation Ability to balance ease of deployment, maintainability and adherence to regulatory and security standards Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders Experience in driving transformational projects and implementing solutions at scale Proficient communication skills in English are a must, while knowledge of the German language is a significant advantage Our Benefits Include EPAM Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) Enhanced parental leave Extended pension plan Daily sickness allowance insurance Employee assistance program Referral program Hybrid working opportunities Global business travel medical and accident insurance Great learning and development opportunities, including in-house professional training, career advisory and coaching, sponsored professional certifications, well-being programs, LinkedIn Learning Solutions and much more EPAM Switzerland was named a Top Company , & by Kununu for its people centric culture built on life-long learning Certain benefits and perks may be subject to eligibility requirements About EPAM EPAM is a leading global provider of digital platform engineering and development services.
