Make your mark for patientsWe are looking for a QC Microbiology & Environmental Monitoring Manager who is strategic, collaborative, and quality-driven to join us in our Patient Supply Quality Control team, based in our UCB office in Bulle, Switzerland.About the roleLead the Microbiology & Environmental Monitoring team to ensure quality control of utilities and environmental conditions in the site's production areas, as well as quality monitoring of biologic products. Drive operational excellence through strategic alignment, team development, and cross-functional collaboration with Production, Technical Services, Supply Chain, and QA.Who you’ll work withYou’ll be part of the Patient Supply Quality Control department and collaborate closely with the Bulle Site Leadership Team, Production, Supply Chain, Technical Services, and Quality Assurance to ensure compliance and performance.What you’ll doDefine and implement microbiology and environmental monitoring strategyLead cross-functional collaboration to ensure operational efficiencyManage budget planning and financial oversight for QC operationsEnsure inspection readiness and compliance with global regulationsDevelop KPIs to monitor and improve team performanceEmpower and grow team capabilities through coaching and feedbackInterested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skillsMaster’s degree in a scientific disciplineProven experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environmentsStrong knowledge of microbiological and analytical techniquesExperience with FDA, EMA, and Japanese regulatory inspectionsExcellent communication skills in French and EnglishDemonstrated leadership and team management capabilitiesAre you ready to ‘go beyond’ to create value and make your mark for patients?
