Then this is your chance – apply nowThe work model for the role is: #hybridYou will be mainly accountable for:Acquire new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients in the switchgear and control panel construction sectorProvide holistic technical consulting and support, including the selection, design, and specification of switchgear systems and componentsPrepare technical offers, lead contract negotiations, and collaborate closely with the project team on tailored customer solutionsDevelop customer strategies, monitor market trends and competitors, represent our portfolio at key events, and ensure accurate tracking in Salesforce (CRM)Qualifications for the role:Completed technical education in the field of switchgear constructionFurther training as a Technical Sales Specialist or Technician (TS) is an advantageSeveral years of professional experience in sales of switchgear or comparable productsStrong technical understanding and solid knowledge of switchgear constructionHigh customer orientation and excellent communication skillsNative-level German; good command of English (spoken and written) is a plusKnowledge of digital networking solutions (e.g. Modbus/TCP)Independent, goal-oriented working style and high willingness to travel within Switzerland (Category B driver’s license required)More about usABB Smart Buildings enables optimization of energy efficiency, safety, security and comfort forany building type, through new installations or retrofit solutions.
