Your mission
For the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 (ESC), we are looking for a DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) Coordinator from November 2024 to the end of May 2025 (50% November-February, 100% March-May). In this role, you will be in charge of developing a concept for Accessibility, Inclusion, Diversity and Sustainability for the ESC 2025 and applying it to all areas of the event and production. As part of the ESC Event team, your tasks will be the following:collect information on accessibility on TV and at international events and develop an accessibility concept for the ESC 2025, based on best practices and with guidance of accessibility experts or potential companies/foundations interested in developing such concepts together with ESC and implementing them at the ESC 2025; develop a concept for Inclusion and Diversity based on best practices for international events and TV shows and implement it across the ESC 2025; develop a sustainability concept and implement it at the ESC 2025, ensuring that ESC 2025 is considered a sustainable and green event; develop such concepts and specific programs together with the different ESC teams as well as with the project team of the city of Basel; provide regular updates on all these issues (equity and sustainability); provide project management support to other areas of the event where and when relevant: volunteer management, catering, transport and accommodation, general ESC event related project management
Your profile
You have a good knowledge of the ESC You have experience and a background in HR practices and ideally in DEI program development or related areas You have experience with big-scale international productions You have good organisational and communication skills You are a multi-tasker and are able to handle stressful situations in a calm and composed manner
