The multi-year ROC programme is designed to create a harmonised global target operating model (TOM) that addresses scalability and efficiency on a journey to 2030 while reducing unnecessary complexities.

ROC encompasses a transformation of the Bank’s technological backbone across Banking Operations, Markets, and Finance.

Within this programme test management is set-up as cross delivery project unit responsible for the harmonized test approach and co-ordination of test activities and its management.

YOUR CHALLENGE

As Head ROC Test Management, you report to the Programme Manager. Your responsibilities include the following for the entire programme:

Test Strategy and PlanningDevelop, maintain, and implement the ROC test strategy and test governance for the program based on the banks test strategyDefine ROC test processes, methods, and standardsSelect and implement appropriate ROC test tools and technologies based on banks given standardsTrain and support ROC test team and project staff regarding test processes and standards Test Design and Execution on Program LevelDefine Test Scenarios, Test Data and Test Cases for business process end-to-end tests across all delivery units covering functional and non-function requirementsStrive for efficiency, synergies with focus on test case re-use and test automationCreate and maintain test plans in coordination with the business responsible and the delivery unitsOrchestrate end-to-end test executionRun the Defect Management Governance for the Program and provide a risk assessment based on the test resultsProvide consolidated reporting of test progress Program Level Coordination and ManagementCommunicate test requirements and results to stakeholdersCoordinate end-to-end tests across all sub-projectsEnsure the availability and consistency of test data for end-to-end testingPlan and manage test environments to align and synchronize between the delivery units in respect to deployments and test data and test executionWork closely with delivery units to align test activitiesMonitor and report on test progress and results across all delivery projects Quality AssuranceConduct regular reviews and audits of test processes and methodsMonitor the usage and effectiveness of deployed test toolsEnsure compliance with testing standards and best practicesIdentify and manage risks associated with test activities

YOUR PROFILE

Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of test methods, techniques, and processesExperience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, X-RAY)Understanding of test automation and related tools (e.g., Selenium, Pactflow) Analytical SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilitiesAbility to understand and structure complex technical and procedural relationships Business acumenGood basic understanding of banking business, products and key processes Management and Leadership SkillsSeveral years of experience in managing test teams and projectsExperience in coordinating multi-project programsStrong project management and resource planning skillsFamiliar with project delivery methodologies including waterfall and agile methods Communication SkillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with various stakeholders at different levelsExperience in preparing and presenting reports and analyses Soft SkillsSolution oriented and pragmatic striving for tangible resultsHigh level of initiative and self-organizationTeam player with the ability to work in a dynamic and complex environmentFlexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and priorities Expected QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related fieldCertifications in software testing and project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are advantageousAt least 7 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a minimum of 3 years in a multi-project / complex program leadership roleWorking knowledge in English is crucial, German is a plus
