About the World Economic Forum

The World Economic Forum, committed to improving the state of the world, is the international organization for public-private cooperation. The Forum engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

The Forum's Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains (CAMSC) mission is to support the transformation of manufacturing industries and supply chains to drive innovation and responsible growth. The Centre engages 190+ organizations from various industry sectors, governments, academic institutions and civil society to anticipate global trends and incubate new partnerships that can accelerate inclusive technology adoption while stimulating innovation, sustainability and employment.

The Forum's Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Network (C4IR) promotes the responsible adoption of technology and industrial transformation at the national, subnational, and global levels through policymaking, pilots, and partnerships.

Why We Are Recruiting

To enhance impact in key countries, CAMSC and C4IR are partnering to establish independent national or regional 4IR centres focused on Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains. These centres, affiliated with the World Economic Forum, are set up by public and private organizations to drive innovation and impact, leveraging the Forum's global platform and network.

We are hiring a Regional Agenda Lead, Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains, to support CAMSC's collaboration with the network of regional centres for advanced manufacturing, including the newly established C4IR Vietnam. The candidate will lead the collaboration and co-development of activities with regional centres, ensuring it effectively utilizes CAMSC's global initiatives and related Forum communities to achieve targeted impact.

Reporting Lines & Interactions

Externally, they will coordinate and collaborate closely with regional centres teams (Director of the Centre, Project and Community leads). Internally, they will work closely with the Content Curator and the Initiative Leads of CAMSC, as well as with the relationship managers of regional centres. Establishing productive relationships both within the institution and externally will be crucial for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities

Co-define annual collaboration plans, with clear activities, progress, and impact milestones with defined input from the Forum.

Establish productive working relationships with regional centres teams, supported by effective work plans, timely communications, and regular meetings.

Help regional centres, including C4IR Vietnam maximize their collaboration with CAMSC and drive meaningful impact through their initiatives.

Lead or support the generation and aggregation of regional and global insights and the development of specific deliverables (such as publications and events) to disseminate latest knowledge, findings and lessons learned, and help raise awareness across stakeholders.

Develop and implement a clear strategy for the incubation, management and scaling up of initiatives with relevance to regional centres and inform the scoping of regional initiatives based on global trends.

Engage stakeholders from business and government to source input around emerging regional and global challenges and opportunities related to the future of advanced manufacturing and supply chains, and disseminate insights generated.

Collaborate effectively with the Forum's relationship manager of regional centres.

Collaborate with colleagues leading CAMSC global communities and initiatives to exchange insights and connections between global and national agendas and inform new regional activities.

Master's (or higher) degree in business, technology, engineering, policy, or similar fields.

7+ years of experience in the private or public sector, with significant experience in business, technology, manufacturing, operations, or policy.
