Your responsibilities The successful candidate will take a leading role in statistical and methodological approaches as well as substantially contribute to the scientific output of the group by publishing in peer-reviewed journals and by presenting results at international conferences. Additionally, the candidate will supervise graduate and master students and will be trained in study related tasks (basic lab work, help with MRI scanning, biobanking). Your profile PhD and/or expertise in data science, bioinformatics, biostatistics, neurosciences, and pathophysiology Advanced knowledge with statistical data modelling (single-omics and multi-omic data integration, multivariate statistics including PCA, linear mixed effects models, etc.) is necessary Excellent scientific track record, including at least one publication as first author in a good quality, peer reviewed international journal Experience in the field of Alzheimer's disease and/or neurodegenerative diseases and in biomarker discovery is also highly desired Commitment and capacity to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and multiple local and international collaborations Interest on clinical research Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written); German desirable What we offer Possibility to combine basic research and applied clinical research Possibility to work on interdisciplinary and highly collaborative projects in a very motivated team Joining an ongoing and very successful project with already available large data-sets to be used straight away Home-office on single days possible Very good salary, according to local university regulations and standards in Switzerland
