We are currently looking for a highly motivated Thermal Energy Storage Researcher Engineer to join our team in our new brand offices in Ecublens – Lausanne Area. YOUR MISSION Design and development of new thermal energy management and storage systems for new applications in H.Glass products Development of thermal energy storage materials with improved specific capacitance and latent heat; designation of thermal energy management systems and exchange systems; designation of light management and photo-thermal system integrated with the thermal storage system Assess and screen materials and systems under development or in the market according to the requirements of H. Glass products Work with other R&D team members to develop prototypes Assess key metrics in pilot-level and mass-produced products Developing H.Glass intellectual property in areas of design and implementation through patent activity YOUR PROFILE M.Phil. or Ph. D. in energy and power, chemical engineering, material science or similar majors Mastering thermal energy storage and management procedure and mechanisms Experience in designing thermal energy systems, thermal batteries or phase changing materials is preferred Knowledge of thermal flow design and thermal insulation designs are also preferred Experience in photo-thermal materials and systems, light managements are also preferred Ability to work independently and collaboration within the interdisciplinary team Proficient level in English Why should you apply (now)?
