In this role you are responsible for managing the integration of Information Technology (IT) with Operational Technology (OT) systems, working in our digital transformation team in close collaboration with engineering and industrialization to support our manufacturing sites around the globe on digital factory deployment.
- Support on implementation and improvement of industrial automation systems, including SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers).
- Deploy, configure, and further optimize edge computing services for high performance and secure data transmission across our facilities.
- Integrate with cybersecurity by applying industry best practices (segmentation, access control, secure communication protocols).
- Serve as a technical point of contact within cross-functional teams, including IT, operations and engineering, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Develop and conduct training programs and maintain system documentation and user manuals to support the manufacturing sites
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer-Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and with strong affinity to data science.
- Proven Expertise in Automation Protocols, industrial Ethernet and industrial network infrastructure.
- Excellent knowledge of industrial automation systems (manufacture – assemble – test – pick – pack – stack processing) required
- Solid understanding of critical to operations data processing & storaging systems and related databases at large scale.
- Travel share up to 30% to the global manufacturing sites for system installation
- Industrial site / field experience and on Injection molding and extrusion processing lines is an advantage.
