We are looking for a part-time sales associate for the Monocle pop-up shop at Hotel Steffani in St Moritz. About Monocle Monocle is an independent media brand with a global reputation for its coverage of international affairs, design, travel, fashion and more. Launched in London in 2007, the business includes our famed magazine, daily newsletters, a round-the-clock radio station and international events, as well as thriving shops, e-commerce and cafés. With HQs, bureaux and shops in Paris, Zürich, Tokyo, Merano and Hong Kong, we are a global team and proud to be a vital source of inspiration, analysis and ideas for our discerning audience. About the role We are looking for a part-time sales associate for our pop-up shop at Hotel Steffani in St Moritz, running from early December 2025 until the end of March 2026. The role offers two working days per week, with the possibility of additional shifts during busy periods or special events.Our shops stock a mix of Monocle magazines and books, collaborations and products from our favourite companies and craftspeople around the world.The successful candidate will have a keen interest in world affairs, business and design, a passion for printed matter, and will be an ambassador for our brand. Our ideal candidates can operate efficiently and productively in a lively retail and hospitality environment, with a work ethic and passion that reflects our brand values and high standards. The pop-up shop will serve takeaway coffees. Staff will receive barista training. It is essential that you live in the Engadine region.A keen eye for detail, a creative mindset and a passion for delivering excellent service, as well as the flexibility to work on weekends, are also essential traits. Proficiency in oral and written English and German is essential. Knowledge of an additional language would be an advantage.All applicants must have the right to work in Switzerland.
