Join our team as anAviation Quality Assurance Engineerto be the guardian of our sky-high standards and ensuring compliance with Internal and Industry Regulations. In this role, you will analyse processes from design to manufacturing, identify and solve quality issues and contribute to develop and maintain a culture of continuous safety and improvement that keeps our aircrafts and operations in top-flight condition. Key tasks: Operational support to Quality Management System. Oversight plants activities (acting deputy). Production and Design Quality Assurance. Internal monitoring (auditing, certifications, etc.) and processes optimisation (KPI). Quality Trainings and Mentoring. Support to HSE (possibly overtaking). Liaison with SMS, Training (ATO), Maintenance (CAMO). Other tasks: Conduct audits: Perform detailed audits of systems, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with aviation standards and internal procedures. Ensure compliance: Stay current with and ensure adherence to all relevant aviation regulations, by updating and communicating company manuals and supporting other departments in a cross-functional role. Identify issues: Identify and analyse quality-related issues, from manufacturing defects to process anomalies, and initiate corrective actions. Problem-solving: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions that maintain quality and efficiency. Improve processes: Contribute to the development and enhancement of policies and procedures to improve the quality system and adapt to changing needs. Maintain documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation, including quality system records, audit results, and relevant regulatory documents. Qualifications: Education: Technical qualifications, Bachelor's or Post Masters' Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field is preferred (Mechanics, highly regulated industries) Experience: 10+ year-experience in an Aviation Quality Assurance role or a related function is a significant advantage (i.e. internal auditing). Sound knowledge of Industry Quality Management System (ISO9001/EN9100, EASA Approvals like POA Part 21 G/J). Proficiency with MS Office, PLM systems. Skills: Proactive, solution oriented, strong communication and organisational skills, ability to work effectively in a team in an international environment and able to collaborate across disciplines. Ability to work rigorously while also being flexible and diplomatic. Keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across disciplines. Communication: Very good communication and social skills. Good analytical and excellent technical understanding. Language: Proficient in English (oral and written). German desirable.
