As part of a dynamic scientific environment, you will contribute to shaping safer therapies and generating impactful data that influence key decisions across drug development and post-marketing safety.We offer a new opportunity as:PharmacoepidemiologistAUFGABENBESCHREIBUNG:In thisPharmacoepidemiologistrole, you will support epidemiology activities within Global Safety & Risk Management, contributing to both simple and complexReal World Data (RWD)studies. You will design, conduct, analyse and interpret epidemiological research using claims databases, EHRs, registries and literature sources. This includes scientific oversight of non-interventional studies and close collaboration with clinical safety scientists to ensure the application of rigorous quantitative methodologies.You independently perform secondary database analyses, develop research protocols and statistical analysis plans, and apply advanced analytical methods such as regression orpropensity score matching. You design and maintain efficientR, Python or SQLprograms, create clear visualisations using tools likeR ShinyorRMarkdown , and contribute to cross-functional initiatives that advance methodological innovation.This position is a9-month maternity cover.ERFORDERLICHES PROFIL:Your ProfileA degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Outcomes Research, Health Economics or a related scientific field; MSc or Ph D in Epidemiology preferredMinimum 2 years of hands-on experience withReal World Data , non-interventional study design and analysisStrong understanding ofepidemiological study designsand pharmacoepidemiologic strategiesProficient inR, Python, SQL , with experience in developing analytical workflowsFamiliarity with medical dictionaries such asMed DRA, SNOMED, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS
