Description :The opportunity We are looking for a passionate Research Team Manager. You will be responsible for leading our multidisciplinary ‘Semiconductor Packaging & Reliability Engineering’ research team in Baden-Dättwil (Switzerland), part of the Central European Hitachi Energy Research Center. How you’ll make an impact You are a leader: Set clear goals and priorities for the team, ensuring alignment with the overall research strategy Encourage a culture of continuous learning and innovation, supporting your team in staying at the forefront of technological advancements Recruit and mentor team members, facilitate their professional growth, and guide project leaders to deliver successful research and development initiatives You are impactful: Foster the creation of new research project proposals and strategic research initiatives Contribute to an innovative and motivating working environment You foster collaboration: Maintain and extend an excellent network to relevant business units andleading universities Promote collaboration between all Hitachi Energy Research Centers You contribute: Contribute to research projects and pre-studies with your own scientific expertise Oversee different research laboratories, including safety Your background PhD in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related field Technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: power electronics, reliability, semiconductor packaging, and an interest in emerging research and technology fields Several years of experience and proven track record in industrial R&D Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in German is an advantage More about us Our flexible working practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.
