Within pRED, the goal of the Institute of Human Biology (IHB) is to disrupt the traditional drug discovery process through innovative, big and bold ideas focused on advancing our ability to use more predictive human model systems.  The Opportunity You will be working in a cross-functional team that aims to establish organoid culture automation with the goal to use them for high-throughput screening. Your role as a biologist is to work closely together with our specialists to establish these automation workflows, as well as developing assays to characterize the organoids. Your impact is the following: Cell culture of organoids, assume responsibility for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of organoid culture activities. Develop and implement SOPs for automated culture of organoids in collaboration with our life scientists at IHB. Operate robotic liquid handling platforms for cell culture and assay execution. Communicate with relevant stakeholders and supervisors about the status of the projects and of critical problem areas. Present your results to scientists at IHB. Document and report all relevant laboratory processes Who You Are You are currently enrolled in a Master's degree program or pursued your Master's degree not longer than 6-12 months prior to the start date in life sciences or a related field Strong laboratory skills, BSL2 cell culture experience is essential - iPSC culturing experience of great advantage Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to details with very structured way of working and documenting experimental work   Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with microscopy of strong advantage Experience with image analysis of advantage Basic knowledge of Python of advantage Start : Ideally March 1st 2026, or upon your availability for a period of 12 months.
