Senior Director, Enterprise Transformation

We are looking for a Senior Director, Enterprise Transformation & Growth, to join our team.  As Senior Director in Lonza’s Global Enterprise Transformation & Growth team, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing Lonza’s five strategic corporate programs—IGNITE, ACCELERATE, TURBOCHARGE, STEER, and SYNCHRONIZE. These programs are designed to transform Lonza’s performance culture, accelerate topline growth, enhance asset productivity, optimize functional costs, and achieve systems excellence. This role requires an experienced transformation leader with strong business acumen, the ability to influence across functions, and a proven track record of delivering impact at scale. You will drive strategic alignment, oversee execution of high-priority initiatives, and ensure that transformation efforts are embedded into Lonza’s corporate DNA. Key responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Shape, lead, and manage transformation initiatives that directly support Lonza’s corporate strategy and growth ambitions. Program Oversight: Provide direction, and shape governance for cross-functional programs, ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved on time and with measurable business impact. Executive Sparring Partner: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and the Executive Committee, providing strategic insights, structured analysis, and actionable recommendations. Change Leadership: Champion adoption of new ways of working across the enterprise, inspiring commitment and driving organizational alignment behind transformation objectives. Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, collaborative relationships across global functions and business platforms to secure sponsorship, resolve issues, and remove barriers. Analytics and Reporting: Translate complex business and operational data into meaningful insights, developing executive-ready reports, dashboards, and presentations. Capability Building: Develop transformation capabilities across the organization, mentoring team members and embedding best practices to ensure sustainability of impact. Key requirements: Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field. Several years of experience in enterprise transformation, strategy consulting, or senior leadership roles within complex, global organizations. Proven record of leading multi-year, cross-functional transformation initiatives with significant financial and operational impact. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate strategy into execution. Excellent executive communication and influencing skills, with experience presenting to C-level stakeholders. Life sciences or manufacturing industry experience highly advantageous.
