The Position Are you a computer science student with a passion for problem-solving and an entrepreneurial mindset? We have an exciting internship position for you, where you'll collaborate with various members of the ASPIRE Development teams to co-create solutions and deliver on our mission. This internship is in the ASPIRE Master Data "Materials" Team (PTE) department, which is part of the Pharma Technical Operations (PT) organization. PT produces medicines globally and relies on high-quality data within its SAP ERP and planning systems for key processes like planning, production, and distribution. As a Data Analyst, you'll play a vital role in helping us achieve our vision of providing more patient benefit at a lower cost. The opportunity As a Data Analyst Intern, you'll assist in translating data and reporting requests into actionable plans. The role involves supporting the team members in their daily business tasks. You will learn how the ERP Data is set up and maintained, how reporting works in ASPIRE, and support the collection and assessment of data using the latest technology AI tools available in Roche. Based on your skills and business needs, your assignments may include: Supporting the collection of product master data Analyzing the data for data quality, outliers and unexpected patterns using AI technology Creating a working document to guide fellow team members in applying the AI technology Connecting with operational master data managers and explain the results of the analysis Who you are We are looking for a highly motivated student with strong computer science skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. We value a proactive approach, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment. Building effective and collaborative relationships in a global, multicultural setting is key. You should be able to prioritize your efforts to focus on work that adds the most value for patients. For this internship, we are looking for a candidate with: A background in Computer Science or Engineering. Proficiency in Python, as well as other languages like C, C#, C++, which are a plus. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST is an advantage. Experience with AI tools like Gemini, ChatGPT is a must to fulfill the requirements. A mastery of process and project management skills and an understanding of the lifecycle of an analytics initiative is a must. The ability to identify and solve problems using a structured methodology. A curious, autonomous, and results-driven mindset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
