OT Network Engineer Stein, Switzerland Onsite Job Description Expert with an understanding of operational technology Deep knowledge about networking OT (IT) Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, routing, switching OT protocols: Modbus, DNP3, OPC-UA, Profibus, BACnet, etc. IT protocols: DNS, DHCP, SNMP, HTTPS, NTP, etc. Firewalls, VPNs, NAT, and network segmentation Network monitoring and performance tuning Cybersecurity – CARBON, NIST, IEC 62443, and ISO 27001/27019 standards Network hardening for both IT and OT environments Identity and access management (IAM) Threat detection and incident response (aligned with IT department) Infrastructure, servers, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) Storage systems and disaster recovery Active Directory, LDAP Endpoint and patch management tools Backup & restore procedures Clear understanding of GxP, SOP and CSV as they are defined Proven ability to develop, implement and review Scope of Work: User administration Troubleshooting and rectification of failures and disruptions Maintenance of the infrastructure (e.g., platforms, network, etc.) Review of event logs and audit trails Backup and recovery Other CSV-relevant activities Adjustments to the infrastructure Identification and implementation of system improvements
