Automation & Engineering Expert (IT/OT) Full-time | On-site | Basel We are looking for an experienced Engineering & Automation professional to support a highly automated pharmaceutical production site. The role focuses on equipment reliability, SCADA/PLC systems, and IT/OT infrastructure, while contributing to ongoing modernisation and digitalisation projects.Your Responsibilities Troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving production equipment (GMP environment) Supporting and developing SCADA/PLC systems (Siemens S7-based ) Contributing to the IT/OT network setup and backup/restore concepts Leading internal and external engineering and automation projects Coordinating with production, quality, technical services, and external partners Your Profile Degree or technical qualification in Automation, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT/OT or similar 5+ years of hands-on experience in pharma/biotech or similar GMP manufacturing Strong experience with Siemens S7 and SCADA systems (required) Familiar with GMP/GxP, preventive maintenance, deviation and CAPA processes Fluent German and English Proactive, hands-on, collaborative working style If you enjoy working close to the equipment, are comfortable coordinating stakeholders, and want to be part of a site modernising its automation and IT/OT landscape, we would like to hear from you.Only candidates eligible to work in Switzerland will be considered. headcount AG
