Requirement & Test Engineer (m/f/d) Freelance/temporary employment for a project Geneva Start date: 01/26 Reference number: /1 Diesen Job teilen oder drucken Responsibilities Collaborate directly with the Product Owner and Agile team to understand product vision, roadmap priorities, and translate business requirements into technical solutions, fostering a continuous improvement mindset Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement and sprint planning by providing technical insights and feasibility assessments Create and manage requirements using industry-standard tools (Polarion), ensuring complete traceability throughout the system lifecycle Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, including test plans and test cases Provide expert-level technical support and incident investigation, working closely with maintenance teams and customers Perform integration tests with multiple surrounding equipment/systems, both manually and through automation Participate in formal system testing activities such as Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) Analyze and document issues/bugs in JIRA with precision and clarity Maintain and update the Test Results Management tool Actively participate and contribute to the Testing Community of Practice Profile Experience in air traffic control domain, solid experience in systems engineering and testing Strong understanding of Systems Engineering lifecycle and standards, proven experience in writing system requirements Extensive experience in system testing, particularly in complex system integration Proficiency with systems engineering tools (Polarion, JIRA, Confluence) Knowledge of Python scripting for test automation (Squish framework) is advantageous Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkin Fluent in English or French (written and spoken), French is an asset Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail Knowledge of standards (ED-153, ED-109A, DO-178C) is a significant advantage Adaptable and autonomous work style with strong team collaboration skills Excellent organizational abilities with effective time management and proven ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines and analytical mindset with attention to detail Benefits If you want to join a small team in an exciting high-tech environment and feel ready to accept the challenge and participate in the customer expansion, don’t hesitate to apply
