We are looking for you as a network technician (m/f/d) and colleague (m/f/d) to strengthen our ICT department at the headquarters of Immobilien Freistaat Bayern These tasks await you: Monitoring and diagnosis of the networks within IMBY Performing security checks, finding vulnerabilities and establishing suitable protective measures Implementation of performance optimizations Supporting end users with network problems Documentation of the entire network infrastructure Development and subsequent setup of new network environments Supporting daily support on various topics (general IT support, server activities, etc.) Network planning as well as installation, configuration and monitoring of network components The job is characterized by a high degree of communication with internal and external departments and occasionally involves (Bavaria-wide) business trips What do we expect from you? You are a civil servant (m/f/d) at the third qualification level for the science and technology or administration and finance career path with professional experience in the IT sector Alternatively, you have a completed university degree in a bachelor's degree program in computer science, business informatics or a similar field, vocational training in the IT sector (e.g. as an IT specialist (m/f/d)) or other completed vocational training with many years of professional experience in the IT sector You have good IT skills, in particular extensive knowledge of MS Office, and have basic technical experience of ICT workstation equipment (PC, switch, server) as well as knowledge of web programming and common database systems Business fluent in written and spoken German You are a real team player (m/f/d), love contact with colleagues, are open-minded and communicative You are willing to undertake occasional business trips using public transport or the department's own car and have a class B driving license What do we offer you?
